About Paul
It takes a certain kind of person to recognize wrongdoing and fight for what is right. Paul Gosar started his career fighting cavities after receiving his D.D.S. from Creighton Boyne School of Dentistry. He has owned his own dentistry practice for 25 years, quickly becoming a local oral hygiene hero.
He has garnered many awards and honors, such as the Arizona Dental Association’s “Dentist of the Year,” and was inducted into the Arizona Dental Association’s Hall of Fame. He serves as the President of the Northern Arizona Dental Society and the Arizona Dental Association. He also is the Vice-Chair of the ADA Council on Governmental Affairs.
But, as the years passed, a deep concern for the state of our government’s affairs has motivated him to put down his periodontal probe and start fighting for our country in Arizona's 1st congressional district. While he was coaching Little League and serving on community committees, such as the Flagstaff Citizens for Fluoride Initiative and the Gold Crown Ball Committee, Paul kept thinking the same thought. All of these people want more freedom, less government imposed roadblocks and a more transparent government; yet they’re not getting it. They are not being represented accurately.
Owning his own business, being a family man and always staying connected with the community puts Paul in the unique position to truly understand the values, ideologies and needs of Americans, and even further, Arizonans. From owning his own dental practice, he has gained an understanding of how to make Arizona a more attractive local to outside businesses and how to protect and create jobs. And, like most entrepreneurs (and unlike most career politicians), Paul refuses to give up or back down; success is the only option.
